The sisters received one million views in less than 25 minutes on The Voice for their performance of “Never Alone.”
The Voice Blind Auditions has never failed to bring out the best in aspiring vocalists. This week, the Cunningham Sisters blew the judges away with their rendition of Tori Kelly and Kirk Franklin’s “Never Alone.”
As the sisters from Ohio took turns reading the songs, the judges were confused. Arianna Grande was the first to notice, but Kelly Clarkson was the first to correct them.
Except for John Legend, all the judges were surprised when the females started singing in harmony.
In an attempt to win the girls’ favor, Legend and Clarkson engaged in a lighthearted back and forth. In the end, Clarkson won.
Kelly Clarkson is well known for winning American Idol’s first season. She utilized this fact to win the hearts of the girls.
The gospel singer-songwriter and producer John Legend tried to convince the girls that he would know how to teach them because they were also gospel singers, but Clarkson ultimately won.
Over a million people have watched the video of their spectacular performance.
